pulled me over for not having a front plate on my bumper! he was pacing me for a little bit...then he flashed his lights! But i dont get how he saw me without a plate in the front, he was behind me the whole time! He told me to pop the hood asked me wat i done to it...i said " just an Intake n exhaust" and i showed him the C.A.R.B sticker on the Intake.
He gave me a fix it ticket!...could someone tell me where i can get that checked off?

yea...it sucks. But he didnt write me down for Intake and exhaust tho and front tint...I was smart n rolled down the windows before he came up to me.

Sorry to hear bout your ticket. I'm guessing he gave you a front plate fix it ticket. Just pay it off not worth going to court. Make a braket for your plate if you don't want to drill through you bumper. Go up to any cop who's not busy or go to your nearest police station have one of the guys their sign that off. It's usually $10.00 send the check to the address behind your ticket to the place that it is assigned.
I'd fight that if he gave you a ticket for your exhaust and Intake if they are carb legal. Some cops sometimes don't mark the the fix it check box sometimes. That's when you got to go to the ref. and have everything inspected. Anyway if it's just the front plate just fix it. Cop was just finding some reason to meet his quota. You can always take it off later. Sucks that that you got pulled over and inspected like that.

heck, a hundred or more of SoCal's finest have seen my plate on my dash and not done anything.
these are not arguments but rationalizations which if delivered correctly can get you a warning:
so if I get stopped for it: I will say I assumed it's ok since hundreds of cops have seen it and not done anything. But I guess since you stopped me it must not be allowed. Thank you for letting me know, Officer.
more to say: also: when I got the instructions from the CA DMV, on the instructions it doesn't say the plate has to be on the bumper: it just says you have to have a front and rear plate. (this is true)
Now if you did get a fix-it on the CARB Intake, no problem, that's just not legal to get a ticket for that.
The exhaust you can just put your stock back on and get it tested. They don't know the difference. When you're done, put your aftermarket back on.

My ticket doesnt say i have to pay a fine...but do you think i have to?
^^cuz thats a stupid reason to pull me over for...i wasnt even speeding or nething. They should of been doing more important stuff than pull me over for a front plate! and i dont get how he saw me without one when he was behind me the whole time!
damn dude we were just tlaking about that at the gas station. well fix it tickets are 10 bux each. dont fight it unless its a moving violation because fix it dont get you a point on your license
I was driving up the 101 to camarillo and i was going like 75 as usual. My girlfriend saw the cop pull onto the freeway like right at my blind spot. I hit the brakes down to 65 and everythings cool. He gets up next to me and hits his lights. I thought he was gonna go pull over this benz that was racing by me in the left so i slow down to let him over but he pulls over this old dude in an accord that was only going like 67. I mean i was glad it wasnt me but ive gotten enough tickets to know how much it sucks
