some members have that mod done to their car. the only thing i dont like about lambo doors, is that they dont open all the way. i saw a mustang with some vertical door lifts and his doors went 100% vertical - i want the kit that he has. i was watching him open his door and when it went up it didnt wobble. BEAUTIFUL BTW does anyone knnow what I'm talking about? I want to know what name brand makes them. im interested in buying that kit

I saw a kit like that in IMPORT TUNER, where the door went all the way up, straight up and down, unlike all the other kits, but i cant remember who they were, im at work now, but when i go home, ill get the name for you guys...it was cool though, because the advertisement they had, of the doors that went straight up, was with a celica, with the action package, so i thought that was neat!!

Alright, I finally found it, i tore it out and scanned it, here it is...Now remember, ive never heard of this or the company before, so i cant guarantee that the quality is good, or that i trust the "universal" fit, i would rather get C2Gas or Decah, but i am just showing this, since you guys wanted to see who sold a kit that went straight up well here it is!!

yes that the kit that this guy with a mustang has. GT factory. i'll ask him more questions about it on monday (i see him at skool) and tell you guys about it. from what i can see, it doesnt wobble, doesnt need to be aligned to close the door, opens smoothly

If you are looking for a lambo door kit which is made in Japan (best quality), not Taiwan or Thailand (c2gas or decah ). Email me directly

you cant get a full vertical lift, they still come out sideways a bit, true vertical doors have their roofline squeezed, like mclarens or lambos, the door top acutally becomes part of the roof, not just clicking under it. But these kits are the closest you're going to get without actually hacking at your roof

Looking at that Celica pic with the door up 90 degrees...personally, I'm not crazy about the "universal" fit or the 300 lbs of force, either. The door may be too hard to bring back down. I love mine and they don't wobble if you simply guide them up with your hand. It was simple enough to install myself, as well. That's my .02 http://www.c2power.com/

I like Troy's ^^^^ ...besides real Lamborghini's don't open at 90 degrees... closest would probably be the Bugatti well sorta close to 90

Lambo doors are fucking stupid.
Believe me from personal experience, they are not worth it.
Someone on this forum had a group buy for them, and they suck even worse than I imagined they would (again, from personal experience).

if it is attention you are looking for, then the lambo style doors will get you plenty of it! However from my personal experience they can make exiting the car very inconvient, especially if you have passengers in the backseat. They tend to hit their heads on the way out...lol. But I think they look cool and I receive many compliments on them, so the inconveniece is worth it to me. later -Josh

Who the hell wants to get in the back of a Celi anyway? I mean lets face it, if you sit back there your gonna hit your head on the hatch anyway. Not to mention I like my seat as far back as it goes, so that leaves like 3" of leg room, not even enough to get your foot to the floor.

Yeah I think they look really nice, I was wondering about exiting the car. Maybe the reason you had such a problem with them siicGTS was because your bad attitude keeps you from having any friends.

Well i HAD them i'll give you all my .02 about them, and No i don't not have them anymore If your car is a daily driver this is NOT a mod for you IMO. They are the biggest PITA. I hated to have to put everything down that was in my hands and open the doors. If it is raining you are going to get wet. You have to teach everyone that is getting in the passenger side on how to work the doors, You have to be gentle when closeing them as if you bounce of the stopper all the time it will knowck the alignment of the door off and you have to keep adjusting them over, and over, and over, and over... AGAIN IF this is not you everyday driver and more of a weekend cruiser or show car then the MOD could be for you. The statement about people laughing at you... Naw that don't happen on the Celica as they really fit the Celi well and flow with the look/body lines of the car really well. Just make sure you really look into this MOD before doing it as you might regret it in the long run after doing it. As i did and took them off

^ you don't need a universal kit for this. You just need to get some door poppers (they are made for shaved handles) and install them. The only thing is you may need a stiffer more powerful shock in order to lift the doors after they are originally popped open. Know what I mean?

vertical doors.com has bolt on lambo door kits that are true bolt on, no cutting or rolling involved

^ I've heard their claim, but I'm sure they have small print that talks about the rolling on certain models.
