i just found out that my dad has tools to build a custom box/system for my trunk. this past wed i just bought a new kicker l7 2004 model and was thinkin of building a custom trunk just to give it a try. anyone have a design in mind that would look nice??? im thinkin of mounting the kicker, my audiobahn amp and a cap...

What are you gunna build it out of? wood or fiberglass? Id go with fiberglass if those are the supplies your talking about

Medium Desity Fiber (MDF) board is the only way to go. You cut it to fit, predrill screw holes, put a bead of wood glue & screw it together. Paint it flat black or carpet it.

that sub is good for spl but in sq it sucks but make sure you port it. it will make it a lot louder with less power and you really should get another amp

i am thinkin of usin mdf. i went to home depot but they had a huge piece of mdf and wouldnt fit in my sisters explorer so maybe when i get find someone with a truck then i'll buy it...but still no plans or any ideas how it will look like... osiris999...the subs itself is i think rated at 2200 watts not sure too lazy to check rite now and my amp is only 1200 watts hahaha. but yea i was thinkin bout buyin another amp...
