I just got my Celica a few months ago. I love it! Anyway since then I've installed a Injen CAI and new exhaust. But now I'm wondering what next. I want to do engine mods first. Any advice or ideas would be great. by the way its a GTS.

Did you do a complete exhaust, headers and all? Cause if not, go for headers.

^ Yeah wait for the TPR header to come out. You barely get any gains from the others. So for now, just wait. You could always upgrade your clutch and flywheel thumbsup

get a grounding kit...GTS needs them.

u are pretty much done for engine imo... cos mostly, that's the only performance parts you will ever get for celica... unless you are extreme hardcore and you want to bore out the engine and do stuff like that.

imo, ur next step is get rims... light ones and screw all 18, 19 shits if you are into performance.

Dont wanna strive you from doing engine mods 1st but i really think you should do suspension. As you might already know our cars are really know for it handeling. I think that taking hard corners and learning to drive your car is so much more fun than going fast in a straight line. Sway bars are the best mod ive ever done in my car. But if you wanna do motor shit TPR headers is the way to go. While you wait for the header to come out you might wanna do little things like the AEM Alternater pully (heard some pretty bad things about the Unorthodox ones), motor mounts, or ground wires. Oh yeah a lighter battery will help.

Here's some info on the TPR race header I posted before:

- Made of polished T304 stainless steel
- Mandrel bent piping
- True 4-2-1 design unlike stock, Trial, TRD, and DC
- Anti-inversion primaries to maintain forward exhaust flow
- 2 piece design for easy install: top half has primaries, bottom has secondaries and collector
- Provisions for adding EGT sensors (on primaries and collector)
- Mounts onto stock header mounting bracket
- Flex section on collector to eliminate stress and possible cracking

TPR Midpipe (compatible with TPR race header)

- Made of polished, mandrel bent T304 stainless steel
- OBDII compliant, CARB approved cat (stainless steel)
- High flow resonator (stainless steel)
- Mounts for stock O2 sensors
- Extension wires for O2 sensors
- Completely bolt on: install in your driveway
- Compatible with all aftermarket bolt on exhausts

The TPR race header and midpipe are planned to be sold as a package, since the header is too long for the stock midpipe. It's definitely possible to get the stock midpipe shortened to fit the race header, but the 2.25" stock piping would result in restriction and power loss.

A midpipe to fit stock style headers (Trial, TRD, DC) may also be released, so even if you don't have the TPR race header, you can still gain the power of a 2.5" midpipe. Adding the TPR midpipe to any aftermarket exhaust would also be the equivalent of having a header-back exhaust, but would be much quieter. wink
Here's a pic of what the TPR race header will look similar to (Toda RSX-S header pictured):

And here's what the current batch of GTS headers (TRD, Trial, and DC; TRD pictured) look like:

Hopefully the TPR header and midpipe will be released by the end of this year, but delays on the exhausts and intakes may have pushed the release date back a bit.

^^^Hey Chris, I look forward to it. TPR is teh new hotness.

Grounding kits a must. Front strut bar for handling. Optima yellow top deep cycle battery. Thats about all I can think of for the engine bay. Everything else is cosmetic.
