I wouldn't ever get those doors unless I was putting my car in car shows honestly. The cost doesn't justify the end result.

Springmans Paint/Killer Kustoms in Muncy PA also sells them. They have a new redesign of their kit that is a good, solid kit. I can get one for you that will kill the group buy price. Some people talk shit on Springmans because of past expericence with there first set of Hinges (yes they have had some problems with it) but there new kit has all the bugs worked out and have no problems what so ever.

I am getting the new kit put on my car in 2 weeks as i have their old kit.

PM me for more info as there special price for the kit is for only the first 5 that is sold.

does the kit from carexcess.com have to be opened all by hand? i mean like can you open it half way and then have the door open up the rest of the way automatically like by hydraulics or something?

It's all manual...Carexcess is actually beginning to develop an automatic add-on for the kit. The only kit that is automatic right now is Autoloc...but it sucks and is really flimsy

I don't think there is any way I would ever get lambo doors put on, I saw some videos of people who had lambo doors and it looks like you have to be extremely careful w/ them. Plau I read a story here about a guy who had them and when he went to open them up one time the whole door fell off damaging the sideskirt the fender and the door. Too much of a risk for me

Really quite easy...once you get used to the new way to get in. I just helped a 40 yr. old friend in my car club put these on his car. He is very happy with the quality, fit and was surprised at the ease of getting in and out
