you have to be industry associated. I got in last year with a business card of a local tuner shop in Vegas. I put down I was part of a race team that was sponsored by that shop. I got in no problem, and had a grand time I might add.
Maybe Isaac will make you guys everythingcelica.com business cards.
But seriously, any automotive industry related business card will do.
SEMA is not open to the general public. You must be associated to the auto industy in order to gain access. I'm going because my brother-in-law has a business in the industry. I'll take a lot of pics & will post when I get back on November 8th. Over 2 million square feet of vendors from over 100 countries(lasts 4 days).

while mostly everyone owns a car in the general public, not everyone is an automotive freak or enthusiast. All of the members of this site contribute to the development and growth of the automotive industry especially the Celica. Many members either have spent thousands or will spend thousands on industry products, while at the same time promoting these products to Celica members and to owners of other vehicles. Associated is a very loose term, and IMO ecelica members are more than qualified. But even people much less qualified than ecelica members got in simply because they went along with someone who owned a business or ran a race team (anyone can run a race team if you "make purchase decisions"). So yes I agree, SEMA is not open to the general public, meaning not everyone can just walk into it like a casino. You just need a reason.
ok now that we have that starightened out how many hours will you physically be at SEMA instead of at the AVN convention? HAHAHAHAHA if I do end up going (need to find a ride) i'm gonna probably be in and out of that place so it'll be 50% at SEMA 50% at AVN oh and definately some time at the Hard rock since thats where all the starlets usually hang out at.
went to AVN a few times... its not as exciting as you may think it would be...
you live here in San Fernando Valley just like i do - i'm sure on an average day out running errands, you have a 50/50 chance of meeting your fav actor or actress
you'll prolly be at the main SEMA building for the whole day and then catch the retailer's building the second day for about half of that...
$20 to enter a small ball room of AVN... filled with pron movies for purchase, sexual toys in packages and quiet men is
It's not just your imagination... Your day really does go by twice as fast while on EverythingCelica.com
