This is just a photoshop to show how it would look to replace the fake
can tip exhaust cover, with a real exhaust tip!

You know, since you don't actually have a Celica, how are you so sure that the tip isn't an integrated part of the bumper or that the exhaust system is even the same as it was in years past?

Serious question time, let me re-phrase:

Does anyone know if the tip is an integrated part of the bumper or if the exhaust system is different from how it used to be?

u better start shopping for it now so ull know wut ur really getting into. start bargaining and buy the car in the end of this month or next month. or else forget a good deal.
the best deal is a car with only few hundred miles on it, or a test drive car. believe it or not, the test drive cars are sometimes faster than the other ones cz they have broken in better.

I have the same body kit and posted almost the same question a few weeks ago. Like you, I got pretty poor responses. I can only assume that most people don't like the new body kit and think that changing it is the only way to go. I guess I am in the minority because I actually really like this new body kit (except for the fake exhaust tip). The only kit that I would ever consider replacing it with is the veilside one. I had always planned on getting the TRD exhaust when I bought the car, but TRD kept telling me that it wouldn't fit. They told me to keep calling back because they were supposed to come out with an exhaust specifically for the 2004 - 2005 with this bodykit. Last month, they finally admitted that they would not be coming out with any new parts for the Celica because it was being discontinued. I decided to take the plunge and buy the trd extended exhaust and find a way to make it fit. The fake exhaust tip simply unscrews but the hole is too small. I had to use a dremel to cut the plastic. I attached a picture of what it looks like with the new exhaust. Here is the link to my original post.

^^^^^

damn, that's what i was afraid of frown

If I might be selling the car back to the dealers after my lease and I were to cut the back plastic to fit an exhaust, would they still accept the car?
