i have a 2000 gts sport shift celica and i bought it used... everything seemed perfect when i was test driving it and stuff and i brought it to a mechanic and everything seemed pretty good to him...so i bought it...after like a week i got insurance for the car and the car hasn't moved since.. but when i drove it off to school for the first time in a week.. it made this loud ticking noise when i put it in reverse.. it sounds very bad and its very noticeable.. its been about a year and it seems to be getting worst.. and it is only really noticeable every time i guess when my car is cold.. so every time i put it in reverse when its cold it makes a loud ticking noise.. it isn't as noticeable when i warm my up car tho but you can still hear it.. and if i don't warm up my car sometimes the car doesnt' respond at all like i push the gas petal and it barely moves no matter how hard i gas it.. and i like have no low end torque my friends auto matrix xr repsonds so much quicker low end.. so does anyone know if it is my transmission that is busted??? one of my friend thinks it could be my torque distributor..

IT COULD ALSO BE YOUR LIMITED SLIP DIFF.MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT GEAR OIL!OUR TRANNYS HAVE BRASS SYNCHROS THAT REQUIRE LIM.SLIP ADDITIVE OR SYNCHRO MESH FLUID.MOST PEOPLE WILL TELL YOU TO USE REDLINE MT-90 BUT I PREFER BG FULL SYN. WITH A BG ADDITIVE. I LEARNED MY LEASON THE HARD WAY.

You put Mobil-1 5w-30 in your transmission. Please tell me that's a typo.
