Different states have different laws but I am pretty sure it is illegal in every state to have a clear side marker with a white bulb. That doesnt mean you would ever get pulled over for it. I have had mine for years now with no problems. Just make sure your turn signals light up amber. There is silver turn signal bulbs that light up amber if you are worried about it.

Are you sure about that? I assume your talking about just the clear corner because I know for a fact you cant have white turn signals.

in my experience, it is illegal. i got pulled over once for putting hyper whites on a turn signal. i later learned that any bulb from the car indicating point of direction should be amber in color and not clear or white or any other color especially if it attracts attention like blue, green or purple. in the rears, i think they allow either amber or red. i could be mistaken of course...

he's right , i had to go to court , (michigan) Your signal to turn in any direction has to be amber, not clear, or GREEN! Thats what the judge told me at least. Now you can have an orange lense and clear bulb, but thats besides the point

They cops will never pull you over for it. Id be realy suprised if they would even catch it. If you're just talking about the side markers...they can be 'hyperwhite'. Turn signals have to be amber in the front. If they aren't...a lot of cops already seem anti-ricer and try to pull you over for anything. Different color signals will just give them an easy way to bust you. Not worth it IMO. You aren't supposed to have any blue, red, purple, green etc. colored lights on the outside of your car because they argue some dumb people might think you're a cop or something.

If they don't flash they can be amber or white. Anything that blinks should be OEM color.
