drove my car thru a neighborhood flood. water as high has the gutter overlapping the grass. my celi started to hesitate, and then stalls at the edge of the flood (about ankle high water).able to start it up, thick smoke coming out from the exhaust for about 2 min.

(sorry spilled my drink) driving my car it bogs, no acceleration, lost of power. dealership found nothing wrong, but just cleaned the sensers, maf, iac, and reprogrammed the ecu to it's specs. threw a bottle of BK or BG fuel system cleaner, and the celi ran as it was brand new. after 1/2 an hour of driving it started to loose pick up in 1st and 2nd gears, bogs down until i hit about 3000 rpm. the power kicks in. brought back to the dealership 2 more times, and they did exactly the same procedure as the 1st. Has anybody had this problem? if so, what did you do to fix it?

i read a post in the past from the B-Bomber about the first O2 senser being damaged. causing the ecu to go lean. can anybody tell me where this O2 senser is located?

if your O2 sensor is bad, the car should be throwing a CEL, so I'm not sure if that could be the problem (worth looking into though).
Does the car run fine everytime you reset the ECU and bring it to the dealer? Or did it work fine after the first visit, and then the condition stayed the same even after repeated visits?

it worked fine after the first visit, but running it awhile, that problem persist.
