What do you mean it sticks? The throttle won't spring back to it's normal position after you release it?

well, its not the floor mat. its kinda hard to explain but ill do my best. so when my car is at full throttle i than release to begin to decelerate. usually the pedal will spring back but now it kinda sticks like its being grabbed or restricted. when shifting after being at full acceleration my rpms still jump up a bit after my foot has been fully removed from the pedal.

Definitely clean the throttle body. Just sounds like there's a lot of gunk built up around the throttle plate that's holding it open.
