Hey Guys, I cant seem to find info about which cold air intake would provide the most HP. Is there a certian brand and model that can give my 2000 gts the best power boost? What other thing could i do to my car to give it more power.

I also want to upgrade my exhaust system. I hear it can make the car sound really nice. I want a very deep, powerful sound. In addition is it true the exhause can also make the car faster?

TPR exhaust and TPR CAI yielded a 19whp gain on a test car. Next closest was TRD exhaust and TPR CAI at 11.5whp. You decide.

Get ALL TPR Products, very good stu!! If not the best other options would be TSRM or TRD for exhuast and injen or AEM for CAI!! or Injen for SRI!!

ALOT. Turbocharger, supercharger, and/or NOS. For a lot of power. If you're gonna go N/A, intake exhaust headers. You've already heard about the best ones. Upgrade cam gears, bore your engine, new ignition wires, solenoid, and plugs. Performance fuel pump and injectors. Optima yellow top deep cycle battery with ground wire kit and battery current stabilizer. AEM tru power pulley system. New pistons and stroke. Also get lightweight alumimum rims and sticky tires with water treads.

anyways. TPR is the way to go.

My Injen CAI pulls hard and sounds great with no CELs. I'm going to stick with it and this is one of the earlier models. I have had the K&N filter and now an open end dry type filter (that I'm going to swap for the K&N again). Never any real problems. I still have a hard time understanding all these problems related with the CAI. It's probably only my car that's running great with the first gen intakes.
I love it how Toyota/Scion is now giving an option from the factory for an AEM CAI with bypass (I think bypass) for the new Scion. Other than the other parts from Hotchkis, OBX, etc.
TPR you should have jumped in on it.

TPR was not established at that time nor could they possibly support that amount of demand.

I myself run AEM and have absolutely no probs with it. however my loyalty lies with the best performance Since I'm always trying to better my car and track times. thats why I like the tpr. I also love the ability to go right to short ram for the rainy days since everyting floods by my house lol

damn i would love a tpr intake but i've already had a cop look under the hood of my car...are they allowed to do that??

i had the same intake as you did, have you drove a Celica with a AEM intake? you probably think that ur intake is the best because it has more top end but it sucks at low end, our cars need low end sence we got none, see if you can drive a car with the AEM intake and you will see the difference, thats y i sold my INJEN to get TPR sence its AEM and INJEN put together
