Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior H&R Springs...w/TRD shocks?

Hi everyone, i'm newby to the ecelica.com, just got my 2002 carbon blue gts about 2 months ago...recently just got a zex kit for it. Thank you for this site... There's a lot of knowledge here, and before i do any mods, i will alwayz come here first..lol..But my question here, is :i'm looking to do the suspension and I've read a lot of your forums about the Trd spring/shock combo, but the problem with that is it only lowers the car like an inch. I want the ride to be comfy also...so i'm trying to find out if H&R springs would fit over the TRD shocks...since H&R springs would drop it a little lower than Trd. Any kind of info would help me. If anyone knows...plz help. Also, how much shot of nos would my stock motor be able to handle? I heard 60shot... but i want to get a couple other opinions first. Once again, thanks guys.

I've heard good things about Hotchkis lowering springs...

I've also heard 75 shot is the ceiling if you want to be safe...

Fact: Your engine will not last long with a 75 shot of nitrous oxide.

thanks steven, maybe i should use 50 shot...but what kind of engine mods do i need to do with that. I don't want a blown motor. Also, do they even have any internals on the market right now... i.e. valves, valves springs, pistons, cams, etc...? Thanks again guys.
