How do you remove the center console on an Automatic Celica? Any help would be really helpful and greatly appreciated.

All I found was how to remove the center console from a manual celica and it's NOT the same. On a manual celica you start removing from the shift boot but in an automatic, you don't have a shift boot. That's why I'm asking...

i can help i have an auto and i did this already, first pull off ur ac knobs and unscrew the two screws that will be there, that will make the top half come off. then you need to put the key in the ignition and turn it to "on"(not start.)then put the car in drive and have the ebrake on, from there i think its a couple more screws and the bottom half will come off easy, wont hit the shifter or nothin. HOPE THIS HELPS -Mike

There is no difference removing the center console from a manual vs. auto.
Really BAD reality TV is the reason I stopped watching MTV.
