Celica Forums General Discussion General I almost got ran off a bridge!

I was going to the Northshore Mall like I always do. There are two lanes that turn onto this four lane bridge that goes over to the mall. I was in the right lane and this white SUV was in the first lane. When the light became green, we both started off. The thing is we are suppose to stay in our lane while entering the bridge (the lanes are divided inside the turn which clearly indicate where the cars are suppose to go while making the turn onto the bridge). Well this *** decides he can try and go into my lane half way through the turn. So here I am with an SUV coming at my side and the only choice I have is to pull to the side of the road which has an almost 45 degree slope down to a highway. Im just glad I did get my car damaged at all but it pisses me off how STUPID some people are!!! I could have been killed if I was not looking, gone further up, then got pushed off the road and into the highway below.

glad you or your car got injured! i had the same thing happen to me the other night! i was getting off the freeway going towards my house, and there were 2 cars sitting in the emergency lane without lights on i might add! i stop at the light and turn right then the a-holes decide they want to go also and some stupid girl almost rammed me from the side! didnt even say sorry or anything! i had to brake hard just to avoid the collison. i scared the beeyatch good though..i rode her ass all the way down the street!

had someone try to merge into me on the freeway friday night. Nobody is paying attention to their driving anymore it seems

prolly some 107 year old myopic with cataracts and a bunch of crap blocking the rear view!

I think I love my Celica too much. I mean, when I saw the car coming, the FIRST thing I though of was my Celica. The second thing was me. I mean I just got the car not too long ago and I havnt even modded it yet! That would piss the hell out of me to wreck my car after gettin it. Even though, if I did wreck it I could always get a manual. But im happy with my auto. I dont want to REALLY run my car in races a lot so manual wouldnt be too much use to me. I just LOVE to drive it.

I too was almost run-off the road, twice in the same day.

first a van pulls out of a swapmeet and then decides that he can merge into my lane, but my responsive skills are good and i dodged him. he stayed behind me and al i did was rev my car only moving forward by the inertia of speeding up. i was ready to out of my car and bash some windows.

second, i was driving at night on the first lane of a highway (more like a four-lane street) then all of a sudden, a white Elantra cuts my off. The fucker didnt even see me until i honked crazily at him. then a drove by his side and he apologized. that was a crazy day.
