alright, i wanna install neons next weekend and i wanna know how to extend the wires, the pic i attached is the kind of wires i have and i think these are the extra wires my brother used on his car for his neons, and i wanna know exactly how i would be doing this (extending the wires) and wouldnt i need to use both the red and black coil of wires because of +/- ?
thanks for all input

Mine were the same...they conected to the cig...
all I used was speaker wire to the length I needed...but you could use electrical tape to extend them by tapeing the two ends together...but it would be better to use a wire crimp and crimp two ends together.
Do you have a switch for your neons? i would tell you my setup which is the same as the install in ecelica...

I did this and didn't have any problems at all... I extended some of my wire with electrical tape...and mine is hooked up to the battery also. I need to switch it to the fuse though. https://celicahobby.com/ubbthrea...;o=&fpart=1

I would recommend wiring them to the fuse box. Its much safer that way and you wouldn't have to go through the hassle to run the wires through the fire wall.
As for extending the wires, use crimps instead of electrical tape.
