how do i hook it up without the hoses... some parts make sense and some parts dont...

by the way its the gen 2 aem intake...

i took off my bumper and took the stock air box out a couple days ago to see what i would be dealing with, and saw these two hoses on the bottom of the stock air box...

however i bought an aem intake that only came with the aem filter...

well...basically it will tell you what hoses are needed on the sheet. as far as i can remember just make sure the blue connector is unplugged and left hangging. That's the reason why you have zip ties to tie that cable somewhere. Post a pic of your installation, it's been a long time since I had my gen2 installed

all i have is the intake, and the filter, there are directions but they suck, black and white and crummy...

all the instructions online dont show how to install it with stock hoses either...

i mean what do i do with those two tubes that attach to the stock airbox on the bottom and the two on the side... (i already removed the intake butterfly so that tube is plugged)

but what about the rest?? i know others have installed, just using stock hoses...

uhhmm...here's a pic of the hoses youre gonna need that came with the AEM CAI as indicated. also, you're gonna need a small plastic cover, adaptors to connect the hose from the ecu housing to the radiator fan. also another hose that connects on the buttom, i forgot what's it called but i circle it to indicate.

whoever sold you that, try asking that person if he or she still has those hoses and adaptors. the plastic piece you can just get them as pepboys, make sure you got the right size.
