I'm planning on getting a tint for the windows in autozone. Did anyone here did it him/herself? is that hard to do? How dark do you guys think a tint should be, and what color would be good with a silver celica?

I had a perfessional do mine, but I have 30% on the front and 20% on the back. Its supposed to be metallic, but it really isnt its more of a grey/silver..looks good and matches the car perfectly in person.

Yeah, you have to patient with it and work out the air bubbles and stuff. And it goes..Fit, trim, peel, stick, get out bubbles. But I would just rather have a proffessional do mine.

lilchief read this topic for a better understanding https://celicahobby.com/ubbthrea...=true#Post96320also please don't buy tint from autozone or pepboys ... it's low quality tint that will whind up turning purple and start to bubble in a year. You need to use a high quality metallized film for a long-lasting tint. This type of tint will hold it's color, not bubble and reflect more UV rays. These types of tint come with a limited lifetime warrenty against fading, cracking, and bubbling. Use a professional, you'll be happier with your tint job.

not so easy. you cannot do it yourself perfectly at the first time, in my thought. need practice. but film is cheap. good luck
