hey guys, i just replaced my hiper bulbs with silverstars assuming that i would be seeing at night ok, but it turns out that i really cant see anything maybe 5ft in front of me, and that 5ft in front of me isnt even lit up that well. with my fogs, i think that driving at night with my headlights on would be pretty dangerous. they barely light up anything infront of me. i know most of the people are fine with aftermarket bulbs, so im assuming that something might be wrong. what could be wrong? maybe i need to re-aim my headlights? let me know guys, thanks

Well aftermarket tend to do that..it's worse in rainy weather..cuz the output light is whitish and not yellow or amber that's y it's hard to see..stick with stock bulb or get HID if you can't see at night..even MTEC will do that to ya..

yep.. hyperwhites have bad visibilty and blow out fast. Stock bulbs are in fact brighter than hyperwhites. Even though when you look directly at them or take a picture and it looks brighter. People always shine the light against a white wall which reflects a lot but shine it at a black surface. Black is the color of the road so it's practical. You wont be able to see anything... especially in bad weather. Plus, aftermarket hyperwhites blow out so fast. HIDs are the stuff. grin
