nope, like everyone says, the Supra engine (which is in the IS300) is far too big for it to fit in the Celica's engine bay. but if money isnt an issue then its possible, although I'd have rather bought a Supra with all that money.

if a swap is possible, and you had the money, then why not do it??? why do american 240 owners do jap motor conversions??? sure it takes money but what good mod doesnt...it would still be a celica but with a engine upgrade...does that make it less of a celica than the next one with japanese parts i.e. intakes, turbos, exhuast running through it????? post up your arguements cause i KNOW someone is gonna disagree with this! i dont mean a supra into celica engine swap but something like the camry engine thats capable of more hp..just want to know if something like that is able to happen...post away you negative people...

Well, 180/240 SX owners swap their motors for the JDM Siliva ones because it is more cheaper than getting the Silvia. A lot more cheaper than having to spend the money to cut the front end of the Celica just to fit the Supra engine. Have you seen the length of the Supra's front end? Thats mostly its motor taking up the space. the tC has the Camry's engine in it. not negative, just saving you time and money.

also it is more possible to swap a supra motor into a camry because of the space available. all you would have to worry about is the swap itself along with minor modifications.

i dont know much about that bro. the 3SGTE is the strongest Celica engine. that's why i like honda cars, most are able to fit bigger engines.

i understand the the supra celica swap is difficult im wondering that outta all the toyota car line, isnt there a more powerful engine capable of swapping into the celica??? even if the money isn't an issuse, still why do it? you're spending tons of cash on what? a celica! can buy something faster say like a vette. no matther how much hp you've, it's still a celica!!! nothing intimidating like the sound of a viper, cobra, m575, SLK AMG, etc...

a viper, cobra and all those cars listed isnt for me...im a 5'6 filopino man..how would i look in a corvette?? lol the celica fits me just fine..i cant see myself in any of those high pricy vehicles..if i wanted people to know i had money, yeah i'd get those you described..but im a tuner and i like my celica gts and i want to do the best i can with it...even if i had all the money in the world..you wouldnt find me having a corvette or bentley...thats just me..but a skyline or rx7..thats another story!!! i can pimp out a skyline to the most luxorious car ever and still have money to do things...im just not a rich car person...
