Celica Forums General Discussion General dumbest thing ive seen pt. 2, the car thief

lately i've been running across a lot of really stupid people. last week it was those 2 idiots on the freeway and now today it was some even bigger dumba$$ in the parking lot at bart. i got there 20 min early for my train so im sitting in my car talking to my ex on the phone. then some guy comes around the front of the car to my right, crouched down and peeking his head up every so often. he gets next to the driver door of this late 80's civic, starts digging through his pockets, takes out some keys and other stuff, starts going to work on the door, and keeps popping his head up to scan the area. im sitting there with my jaw hanging and thinking to myself "how does this blind dumb sh!t not see me???" i was no more than 4 ft away from him. he then finally looks up and notices that im inside the car right next to him and saw him the whole time. he stands up straight, knods his head whats up, and walks away. i tell my ex about it and she says go tell the bart police about it. i get out and see him driving away with his windows super fogged up, obviously trying to cover his face. that didnt make much of difference since i had a clear shot of his face for about 30 seconds, and got the plate number of the car he drove away in hehe. so i went and told the bart police and even had a cool little talk with them about cars lol. im still blown away as to how blind and dumb that guy was. man i cant wait to see what kind of dumbass ill run into next

what was he trying to do? Was he trying to steal it or vandalize it?

wow...some people never fail to amaze me. but it was a good thing he was so careful to keep a good watch, what a dumb ass

i am an RA at UF in the dorms and one of my residents came to me last night to tell em aobut his latest experience.

He was at a late test last night and when he was goign back to his car in a parking garage he saw it was the only car in the garage floor. Then he notices his car door open and a guy crouched half inside it. He snuck up on the guy and sucker punched him inthe back of the head. the guy went out on the ground. apparently another guy was onthe other side and took off. So my resident called the school popo and they came, nudged the guy and took him away. They havent called my resident sice, but he is proud of the incident

wouldnt it be cool if you were sitting in your car, with a friend, that has dark ass tinted windows and a guy tries to break in by picking the lock?

you then roll down the windows and ask him what he wants.

(BTW i am ruling out the fact that the car-jacker might be armed)

It would have been finnier if he would have tried to get into your car not knowing that you were in it. Thats why I keep my gun under my passenger seat. Boy would he have been supprised. I would have let him get in too. Good lookin out though.

id love it if someone tried to brake into my car and it had dark tinted windows. id slam the door into his face, laugh, kick him in the nuts, take a pic of him with my phone (if i have a camera phone) then drive off. itd be some funny ***
