Anybody ever heard of a remote that i could wire into my car (probably under the seat) that would work on 12v... I want to be able to control like underbody neons/footwell neons etc. through a remote switch kinda like the switches you can get for lamps at home where you just plug the lamp in to box and the box to the wall but i need it for 12.. Any help would be great!

i have herd of them, see them on ebay. search there. you jsut have to hook it into a power source that wil be on when the car is off. i have my neops wired behind my cig lighter but my key has to be in it to turn them on.

what most poeple do is use the accessory outlet on an aftermarket alarm system. for example, you could instead wire the 12v wire to the neon lights instead of your door locks then when you push the button to "unlock the doors" you would actually be turning on your neon.

Ha yea i thought about that but I have all 4 of the inputs on my alarm already used up ( I have remote start and remote windows...)

you can run the wires into a toggle switch and then to the power source.

just get a remote system from radio shack or an electronics place. It's just a reciever and remote. It doesn't have to be "made for cars" necessarily. It just needs the ability to deal with 12v things. However, you run the risk of damaging your alternator with a system not rigged into an alarm, it might be a good idea to get a cap for it.

sorry guess i should explain.2kool industries has a remote you can connect up to 4 different things to it such as strobes underbodies footwells or anything like that.i assume thats exactly what your looking for
