Everyone always talks about the TPR exhaust and im agreeing that it is the best out there from the axle backs but i wanted to know how much more hp a catback exhuast would give you . thnx

do you mean axle back vs. catback? they are the same thing for celicas...unless you do custom catback piping

so greedy evo2 is not a catback? i tought it was? TPR who? I still haven't seen anyone with the actual exhaust installed on the car. But there are a LOT of RUMORS going on around the forums that they have the "best gains" amongst axle back exhaust.

no, we can't have a catback unless you make it custom and with that, it won't do anything anyway.

Kazuma is the only catback system made for celicas short of going custom. What i did was i bought an exhaust control valve from arospeed to adjust the volume of my Kazuma exhaust when neccesary, such as when im around home or around cops.

The car model makes NO DIFFERENCE, like i said its made to fit 2 1/2" piping. They are all the same exact thing. it doesnt matter which one you buy it will still work.

kazuma is not a catback...kazuma eliminates the cat, therefore, its not right after the cat (catback).
you can't have a catback made unless you weld, its just the way the piping was made on the celica.

I'm pretty sure the kazuma doesn't remove the cat.
to have a cat back on a celica you have to have the pipe cut and welded in place. it's not a simple bolt on like an axle back setup.
IMO there's really nothing you'll gain from having a cat back system.

last i read, the kazuma elimates the cat, so from who i read if from, they are either right or wrong. why do you think it's illegal and for race? race cars have no cats. otherwise, anyone could make a kazuma exhaust from a trd by takin the resonator off since the rest of the piping is the essentially the same. kazuma does not gain 20hp at the wheels, all it does is free up more flow and gain a little more than an axle back.

uhhhhh TRD Kazuma does actually gain 20hp to the drive wheels, do your research before arguing against that.

Also notice the loss on low end with it too. Let me find that dyno... I've also seen dynos of NO MUFFLER. They would probbly gain around as much if not a lil less... Injen CAI/No muffler = 176whp

Injen CAI/No muffler = 176whp I would definately expect a loss at low end due to the fact of less back pressure. However, I would also expect the top end of the kazuma to be higher than the TPR. It just would make sense.

i will admit that kazuma causes a loss of low end, but not to much to the point where its noticable. Not to me at least. but when kazuma hits high end the damn thing just fucking kicks sooooo hard. and i do know this from experience. I can honestly say that when i had the kazuma on i noticed major power increase, and the slight loss of low end was worth it.

yeah on that injen cai+no muffler dyno.. there's so much low end power loss i would never get that. Again, daily driving with be insane. I have problems with the STOCK low end power with daily driving and i find myself going all the way up to 4-5k rpm cause the low end power is so bad. the top end would be great to have but i think equal is better.
