I actually got a pretty good deal I think:
"SF Turbo Kit: It includes everything needed to do the install (used for about 4 months) I made 206 whp and 173 wtq on 6 psi on a automatic gt.
Garret T3 Super 60 Turbo 4-1 Equal Length Manifold 2.5" Downpipe (bolts to stock exhaust) 19"x9"x3" Intercooler (No SF logo on it) All Polished Piping and Couplers SF Fuel System with Split Second ECU SF Fuel Rail Greddy Type S BOV Install guide and Split Second R4 software on a cd $2600 Shipped *SOLD*"
My install is being performed by a very very good specialist Highly tuned including on dyno Serious O2 sensor, gauge, lcd readout Torque Converter 3000rpm 2 tranny oil coolers
Answers from trusted experienced memebers PLEASE!! I've got too much $$ in this for inexperienced guesses, please.
Question 1: I currently have a Tanabe Super Racing Medallion (2.5" pipe). Will this exhaust work ok?
Question 2: Plan on running at 7psi, but how high would be recommended and still be very very safe from damage?

The exhaust will be fine. Why not run at 6psi, are you changing internals?

Exhaust will be fine, however getting a custom exhaust will increase power. I wouldnt go higher than 7 psi daily, just too much stress on the engine all the time, however you can run as much as 10 psi for racing as long as you have a good tune.

Yeah dont run at 8 psi for daily use. I would run at 6 psi for daily driving.

What do you guys think about turboing a 90 GT i found one and can send you the link if you want it. Right now i have dual exhaust, i replaced the resonator with a Y pipe and routed the exhaust to the side skirts i did a little internal work but not too much. I did stuff like overboring the pistons and replacing the camshaft.

that'll be a hella nice set up, however, aren't you worried about eating up your tranny with the increased power? i always thought the autos could only hold up to a little bit more than stock.

Well Im plannin on runnin arond 7psi and they say run 6 as a daily and my car is a daily but at night ill crank it up to around 10psi to really get some kick. I dont recomend you runnin it high for a daily itll be too hard on the engine and tranny unless you did work to them like me. I can give you some ideas if you want too but let me know.

thats awesome man! i've never heard an auto gt blow off! so you can set the rev limit with the new pfc right? thats cool that your one of the few turbo owners, but what makes it even better is you have an auto! i'd say ask the guy whos gonna install your turbo to decide what boost to run...i mean, he would know the best out of anybody! tell us how to ride is with the extra ponies!!!
