Can someone tell me where the stock amp is located in the 02 GTS?

Thanks!

Hi Sara, welcome to ECelica. If you are talking about an amp for your stereo, there isn't one. Your speakers are powered by your stereo only. Is that what you meant?

Actually, yes there is. It is located behind the glove box. To make use of mine when I installed my new head unit I had to order a special adapter for the Celi 'premium sound system' from Car Domain. The adapter sold in most stereo stores is for the 'non amp' system. You could also just bypass it. Do a search on this sight; there are loads of threads on this topic.

My boyfriend and I were installing my new Alpine cd/mp3 player but we didnt know there was an amp, things didnt go so well. That non amp adapter was probably the problem. I'll try a search and see what I get. Thanks!
