Is there anyone who bought and install Greddy boost and speed limit cut eliminator for japan import celicas which has speed cut at 188 km/h.
I ordered one and has got a japaniese instruction manual. Hard to install with japaniese instructions on manual. Asking anyone who has instructions to fit Greddy in english?

I prefer to not to do anything if i do not perfectly know what i am doing.

Do you mean 188 mph? Personally I've gone pasted 188km/h. And sorry I can't help with the install, I've never even heard of it.

I think the point is that the Japan version Celicas must have a 188 km/h speed limiter and FreedonFlyer wishes to disable it. There is no way in hell a Celica is going to reach 188 mph; therefore, no limiter required.
FreedomFlyer, what is the Japan import ECU that you have? Do you know if it is compatible with North American Celis? How much? Where did you get it?

that unit is universal, basically it cuts out the speed limiter. how many wires you do have to connect? you should be able to e-mail someone at Greddy USA about it and they should be able to help you out.

Actually i bought it from parts411.com but even they dont have any information in english and they dont know how to install it... the strange think is that , they produce the product and sell it in USA and dont know how to use it tongue

I will email greddy direcly to demand english instructions soon.

and the limit is 120 mph(188kmph) not 188 mph

i am not sure about the type of the ECU but my 2000 celica GTS kicks 197 bhp in dyno and it is import from japan.. the only problem is it comes to 188 kmph immediately in 4th gear and electric cut at that speed. 5th and 6th gears are only for overdrive cry ... useless...

i am planning to solve that speed limitation with greddy speed cut limitor.

there are 5 cables to connect to ecu wires ..tehre are some charts in black and white and in japaniese... so i cant connect the part to my car... that is the case... i am emailing greddy to solve my problem...

i will complain about that part that sold in the USA and has no english instructions... strange.. i was not expecting this... i have the part but cant use it...
