well I guess the advice would have to come from someone who bought the same shifter and installed it on his/her Celica.

the thing is that if i went with this one on ebay i would only end up spending like 50 bucks. Isnt it worth it?

in general...I've heard if you go with a cheap shifter you can screw up stuff in your shift assembly..and I've also heard of cheap shifters like by OBX just breaking from hard shifts..sounds nuts..but I don't know how true it is for the Celi products.

bottom line is quality/reputation matters for the most part regardless of the car.

you only need to look to the nearby "When did this trend start" thread to get a feel for the heated opinions on this issue.

The only difference between that thing and my B&M is the color. It looks exactly the same.

Of course, B&M > eBay, but if you don't care about that it should be fine.

i mean im pretty sure that the ebay one is going to be cheaper materials used, and i was checkin around for b&m prices and theyre only like 130. so its not tooo big of a diffence. Is there anyone that has driven a gt celica with both a twm and a b&m shifter? what would you say is better? or what is the difference

TWM is shorter than B&M (shift knob sits lower with the TWM).
