I am installing my shortshifter and when i am removing the bolts i got 3/4 of them. One of them isnt coming off b/c if i turn the racehet it catches it, then lets go. I think the tread is wearing away. how can i fix this?
When a nut was stripped that I was trying to remove I put a piece of sand paper over the bolt with rough side down over the bolt. It gave better grip on the bolt/nut.
