Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior WHERE DO I START!?!?!?

i just recently bought a 00 celica GTS and havent even beguna ny mods. i was just wonderin if anyone has any suggestions on where to start with my mods. do i go for the engine and hp or appereance on the exterior, or shud i hit up the sound system with some bangin subs. ANY IDEAS?!?!??!

well if you have a manual then go for the power! 6spd GTS has some great gains from simple intake and exhaust. if ur an auto, like me, then well you can do a little of both, maybe lower your car and some exhaust or intake it really up to u, if you want more show than go apperance and stereo, if you want more go, then def. go for the power mods!

ive got the automatic with tiptronic soooooo i dunno maybe ill go for a little of both

in dash dvd player..IMO

just an exhaust if its an automatic... kinda hard to squeeze power out of it..IMO

go for looks. you're not going to get much performance wise outa the auto.

and the stock antenna rocks

get a kit, rims, suspension some nice sounds/dvd player and call it a day.

and dont forget to pick up some lambo doors

i would say Cold Air Intake for your next mod. And then do the tints cause TINT is a must lol

first thing i did was get some new gauges, paint the dash, get some sport pedals... but you are also gonna want at least an intake (sr for sound and some performance or cai for more performance). and you can do all that for under 300$!!

these are all very simple mods that you can do yourslef for cheap besides the tints.(get them done by professionals) these are what i started out with. since the winter is here im just saving up for my wings west kit and some other shit like blue led gauges, clear corners, Mtecs etc...
