Ahrite guys. I think that for XMas, I am going to get me a new Head Unit. I can't seem to find a place to get a good tint job, so I guess I will get the Head Unit first and then get a tint job when time and money has been recharged.
So...
Right now I have a Fosgate Punch 800 AMP. It runs to the stock Head Unit using Line Output Coverter underneath the glove box. If I was to get an aftermarket Head Unit, what would I need to get or do given that I just described you my setup.
Also when looking for the Head Unit, what should I be looking for? I am not going to be running a crazy sound system. The Fosgate Amp stays and I will be hooking back one of my JL 12" in the trunk. I might change out side speakers later down the road.
I am looking at the Alpine CDA-9825 right now since it is priced reasonably.
Also, Good Guys have a Kit and Harness for the Celica right? And that is all that I need? Kit, Harness, and Head Unit?

Wait, I was reading a bit more and notice that there is a thing called Sub Preamp Output and Preamp Output. If I am going to be going from the HU to the Fosgate Amp and from the Amp to the Subwoofer. Would I be needing the Sub Preamp or would the Preamp Output be good enough? What is the difference?
Because if that is the case then I can get something like the Pioneer DEH-P3600 CD Receiver CD-R/W playback - detachable fold-down face - multicolor display - 22 watts RMS x 4 - Supertuner IIID - XM Satellite Radio-ready - Easy EQ - EQ-EX - Sound Focus EQ - optional AUX input - remote - changer control
I just got one for my g.f and I like it a lot. Has no Sub Preamp but has 2 pair of Preamp Outputs. This can be had for $111.

I have an Amp, it is already installed. It is located in my trunk and goes all the way up to the Stock Head Unit.
