Celica Forums General Discussion General squeaking noise

ok guys i went to toyota today to see what was squeaking under my hood.
so the guy rides my car down the street and back and he told me get in
he rides the car he asked me to tell him when the niose came on i told him to keep it in between 2,000 and 3,000 rpms so we both herd it.
then we go back he asked me to get in driver side and press the gas niose comes on and i told him it might be the tensioner so he gets a bar and he pires the tensioner then i press the gas again. he said if i still here it i said yes he keeps on looking so he doesn't know were its comeing form he said don't worry about it

sure it doesnt sound like a squeaky belt?

na because when i turn on the car it doesn't squeak

mine does that too, i dont know what it could be sounds louder when fan kicks in when idling

its a common problem in the earle 7th generation celicas, especially a squeaky clutch, if you find out what it is, let us know.
