How many of you have a shortshifter, and how do you like it? I was thinking about getting one because I've heard it makes the car a lot more fun to drive (shift) and helps you in the 1/4 mile also.
How much do these things usually run for?

i got twm 125 shipped off of the net and i love it, makes shifting in traffic easier on my arm, no i can just shift with my wrist, now shifts dont feel mushy and it clicks right into gear, mechanics who drive it complement me on it a lot how it feels like a sports car shifter

Well I really want one that looks really short (like it would be in a sports car or something) and one that make it a lot more fun to shift/drive. So is TWM the one you guys would recommend? Got any pics?

If you want short, TWM is but if you want the shortest customize it.. I saw some guy cut his B&M way to short I can't even imagine how's he gonna shift... Uhhmm..I think it was Caleb.

I just put in a TRD SS and I love the new shifts. My arm was sore at the end of the day when I tried out my friend's TWM, but the TRD is short but slides into each gear. Probably not as short as B&M and TWM, but plenty short throws.

I have a B&M knock off and I hate it.
It was great the first day or two and after that it wasn't the same. Mechanics and everyone will make comments on my car about being stiff including the SS and how great it runs for a 2000 Celica. But I know the truth because I drive the car everyday. I know the truth. B&M will be stiff and good for enough and most, but not for me. I would have to say TWM just from heresay alone. My clone of B&M isn't all it's worth and it's an identical piece. Granted I like super stiff, especially on a shifter, so remember that.

I have a twm ss and wish i had gotten it sooner. I use to miss 4th when shifting down from 5th to pass but i don't have the that problem anymore! And i NEVER have a problem shifting into reverse.
If your gonna drive it, drive it or get out of the way!
