Well I finally got some time to take my headlights apart and cleaned them. I was tired of that yellow look and water marks all over, so I stucked them in the oven and cleaned them. It was to tempting not to leave them stock so I went ahead and painted them. Let me know what you guys think

Here is a pic with the one the left dirty and the one on the right clean. For those who saw my car at the meets would be able to notice the difference to bad the camera doesnt really show it.

looks nice, though i wonder if it would look good in any other color... like silver or matched to the paint of the car, i just dont know if any other color except for maybe black on black would look as good as black on any color...

Yeah I got the paint from autozone, I thought of using silver to match the car but I have enought silver as it is. Will see what it looks like when I get a carbon fiber hood

I want to do that really bad! How long did it take you and how do you reseal the headlights?
My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10
of those speedchips! I figure if 1 gets me 20hp then 10 will get me 200hp!

Hopefully you resealed your headlights well enough. Did you paint on top of that clear thing? If you paint it on the bottom, it keeps the contour of it and looks way better. I cant tell what you did with yours though...

It took about 4 hours to do and I just used plastic silicon to reseale it. I used to coats of it and so far with the rain I have not had any problems. I did paint on the bottom of the plastic inside the headlight. I was looking a for a more deep black look so I applied to coats of paints!

that looks badass! i wanna do mine too but im not exactly sure where im suppose to paint. It doesnt look like he painted all of the reflective insides but only parts of it. Anyone have like a diagram that shows where to paint?

looks nice...what did you use to clean your headlights? I used meguiars wax to clean them but any other kind of wax will do the job. Just check what the applications are for.
