ahhh you want your fogs on as your DRLs. Well for the amount off rewiring necessary you might as well just run an independent on/off switch to them, since it's basically the same process.

Vlad is correct.
during the daytime, the highbeams are on. they are just using a low wattage.
as for parking lights, the celica has 2. the sidemarkers and the little bulb inside the headlight.
you've noticed that there are four bulbs connected to the headlight, right? lowbeam highbeam turn signal parking light
he wants to change the DRL from the highbeams to the small parking light bulb.

in other words, no one has done this yet. i think it would be to complicated to find out which wire is which and how to override the system that feeds that highbeam a small wattage or energy.

and btw, two lights are on in the daytime, your high's at 35% and a 194 wedge bulb (parking light) which is also in the headlight housing. i'm gonna replace the 194's with red led's and disconnect the wire that runs the high beams and just run the led in the daytime.

my parking light isnt on all the time. oh btw, if ur switching out the little 194 in the headlight to leds, i sugest you get the "matrix" style. that have like 4 leds going in 360 around it and 1 pointing strait. I origonally had jsut 4 strait poainting 4 led bulb and it didnt reflect enough inside. the matrix ones are not cheap unfortunatly. they have them on ebay for like 6 a piece. ok so its not a fortune goodluck
