are the bases the same? or is the only difference the 3rd brake light?

nope...they are completely different... the TRD wing angles inward, and the ends are more triangular. Also, the center piece is about 1.5" below the very top of the sides, and is non-adjustable as far as angle as of the wing. The KAM wing is similar to the ROd millen style wing, which doesn't angle in, but stands straight vertical, and the center piece is closer to the top of the sides (I think its flush). Also, the center piece of the kam wing is adjustable in that you can change how steep the angle of the wing is in relation to oncoming air (angle of attack)

the trd blade is adjustable, as well as the KAM/Rod millen blade

i used to not like the style of the Kam/RMM wing but, now that i see it regularly (on EC) i've grown accustomed to it. it really flows nicely with the celica just like the trd wing

i guess maybe later i might like it-even with the celica when it first came out i thought it looked wierd then it grew on me and i bought one
