If you are serious about getting sponsored your car has to be pretty heavily modded, but if you just wanna get free parts, than forget it.

yeah to get sponsored you have to not need the sponsor, if you get what i mean. you have to provide the sponsor with something they can't get elsewhere, and not seem desperate to do so.

you have to send formal letters to companies addressing as to why they should sponsor you. what can you offer than no one else can. dont think its that easy. (sure it seems easy in NFSU, but thats if you have an agent.) other sponsorships for "free" parts are just bullshit. you only get a discount, not even a good discount.

I got turned down by mwr  apparently they only like people with turbos. but eh whatcha gonna do. if you're lookin for free parts you can forget about it. like they already said, you gotta not need the sponsors.

For 2002 car audio sound competition season, I wrote a kick ass 6 page proposal with graphs and sent it out to about 10 car audio companies. Most of them offered me 25% off of dealer's cost of the car audio items I wanted but Concept car audio then president Larry Fredricks actually sponsered me and gave me $1200 worth of car audio speakers, shirts, banners, and stickers for free. I just had to call the company after every competition and tell them my results and how I pushed their products. Sponsorship can be easy, you just got to show the company what YOU can do for them, not what THEY can do for you.
2002 dB Drag World Finals at 13th place in Street 1-2, 24 trophies in dB Drag and USACi SPL autosound competitions.
