hi people i need a little bit of help,
i fitted skunk2racing coil over springs
to my 140 (GT)i`m in the UK last week. problem is i`m getting a bit
of a knocking sound from the near side front suspension
i stripped it countless times even replaced the rubber
bump stop but to no avail. the steering is fine, the drivers
side seems ok, i just wondered if anyone had any ideas,
the shocks seem ok. i wondered if upgrading to something
like KONI or simular might help. any thoughts please.
THANKS Bryan
i`m popping over to new york thursday for a few days anyone
give me a address of any auto part shops

Ive had the same delimma since i installed these coilovers..for me its livable..but i fixed it by wrapping duck tape around the shock area that the coilover sleeve goes over (touches). The coilover sleeve is actually hitting the shock itself when you go over bumps. The duct tape will buffer the "impacts" and should silence the knocking. You can also try rubber O-rings. DOse it still make a knocking sound when your going on a nice flat and non bumpy road?? I understand your frustration on stripping the suspension countless times rofl. Ive done the same myself thumbsup.
