i assume it would workas long as the dent is not too small or too big.

the problem with it is that it can "over-pop" the dent resulting in a buldge. Kind of a crapshoot with each use.

It would have to be a rare dent that didn't have any crease in the metal, otherwise it won't work like in the commercial.
