when i got my '00 gts, the center console peice that goes around the shifter and ebrake and everything was broken... like it doesnt snap all the way on... i dont kno if its the console part or the metal under it holdin it up. if i had a pic id post it, but any input would be awesome! thanx!

It's prolly the plastic since metal is less likely to break. Why dont you take it out and look to see what's damaged?
