how much would you guys estimate the price on a hoodscoop+paint and install? because i thought it would cost like $300 or something and i thought that it would be way cheaper to get a Carbon Fiber hoodscoop i found one for just $119 at http://www.i-m-racing.com/rmmhoodscoop.htmland i think thats a great price, any input? edit:its made by RMM (not RMM style, the real deal)

raised hood scoop from www.thelostrican.com [ thelostrican.com] at $130, painting job ($150 for hood scoop, hood spoilers and gauge pod, all painted in spectra blue) estimated in $50 just for hoos scoop, and installation, so easy you can do it yourself in 5 min. I really wanted all this; not into carbon fiber... hope it helps...

I am running a group buy for a replica of TRD sport M hoodscoop. Product will be ready in a few days. Can get it if FB, Carbon Fiber or colored Carbon Fiber/Keflar. Let me know if you are interested. Around $185US for a FG one depending on the Canadian dollar exchange.

yea man get it...but is it going to match your color scheme? only have Carbon Fiber if you are going to have Carbon Fiber running through the rest of the car...

I think the c/f one from your link doesn't look to good. I've seen it too, wondering whether to order, but the edges seem rather rough. maybe it's just the picture tho
just my 2 cents

I had a VIS c/f raised scoop on my stock hood for a while (looked like shit) and it scratched the hell out of my hood.

Don't buy it from Intense Motorsports. I ordered something from them a month ago and haven't heard back from them since. Email's haven't been answered, phone's off the hook...but at least my credit card wasn't charged.

I bought mine from importfan.com. I paid 138.00 shipped and I am satisfied, except that it didn't come with any hardware so I ran to Home depot and got some bolts.

Those prices are a bit off as the Canadain dollar has gotten stronger since the group buy was posted.
Best thing to do is give you prices in Canadain dollars which will remain the same, and you can convert yourself. CF-$299, CK-$329, FG-$249. These are in Can. dollars and do not include shipping or GST.

ok, i work for one of the largest a/v accessories manufacturers in the country so i confirmed canadian pricing (canadian to u.s. dollar conversion). it translates to the canadian dollar divided by 1.47. that means: CF-$299 is $203.40 u.s. CK-$329 is $223.81 u.s. FG-$249 is $169.39 u.s. not bad for trd jdm. by the way your link to newcelica.org doesn't work.

Ya I know. When I post the link something strange happens. Just try to cut and paste this." ?s=3aa693b46928b124d687ba34fcb07f31...28b124d687ba34fcb07f31&threadid=7437 [ newcelica.org] " For some reason "s h o w t h r e a d.p h p?"is being replaced with [censored] ? so once you cut and paste change [censored] ? with "s h o w t h r e a d.p h p?" (take out all the spaces I put in). It does not really matter to me what the american dollar is doing, as long as I get the money in Canadian funds. I'' post up some pics once I get mine put on.

Yes, you are right. I have been wanting to get a TRD Sport M scoop for a couple of years now, but the price of the real thing is way to prohibitive (over $500US). I had this scoop made not to make money, but so I can have one. The shop wanted to make sure they sell a certain number to pay for the mold, thus the group buy. Now that the group buy has been filled, I figured since the mold has been made I would let everyone who wanted one have one. I am not able to post the link to NC.org, so here is a word file with the URL in it.

I want to finish off that stripe down my hood...but idk if I should just get my stock painted black or go with a Carbon Fiber one... cause my hood will look like this... i will have TRD hood spoilers and that black stripe..but idk if paint or a RMM Carbon Fiber will look nice...

I am afraid with the RMM, you may be able to see the end of the centerhood kit... and with the Carbon Fiber..it won't match the stripe well...I am going to see how much it costs to just get my stock sanded and painted black.
