I used to have a Pioneer Premiere deck and my room mate had a Panasonic unit. He said he would switch w/me, since his Panasonic lit up blue and matches my interior lighting quite well. Anyway, we did the switch and it looks great, but this Panasonic skips like crazy! I can go over the slightest of bumps and it'll skip almost every time. Is there anything I can do to keep it from skipping so badly, or are Panasonics known for this problem?

its all about its shock buffering..theres really not much you can do about it. if the cd is fine and not scratched, the problem rests with the cd player.
you COULD do a custom shock absorption holder for your deck..anything is possible but i don't recommend it. it's been done before though..pain in the ass

it could be your cd player mounting bracket, or you could take it to an electronics store and have them take a look at it, I know mine had a problem with skipping and i had the electronics place fix it, something was loose inside.
