Findanza flywheel and Motor Mount Insert..damn wat a different it feel..those of you with these insert knows what i'm talking about..wat a vibration..damn it vibrate so bad at first, but it lessen a lil as it breaks in..and the flywheel, wooooott..higher rev, loud as f*ck though..dunno y, but it sound so loud, i have a ebay intake on..mayb it's the motor, but it make this vrooom sound real loud, like i have aftermarket exhaust which i don't...wooottt!!!! launch is so much betta too..oh yeah, the shop i went to only charge me $300 for both install..wat a guy, he was the owner and he said if the insert goes in easy, he won't charge me any..so i didn't get charge for having the insert put in..only $300 for the flywheel..

i got a broken motor mount so i bought the insert for it..below is the definition that ptuning.com give or Energy Suspension gave..and i quote
"ENERGY SUSPENSION Performance Polyurethane Motor Mount Inserts prevent the excessive engine torque movement inherent in front wheel drive cars and all wheel drive cars with tranversely mounted engines. These inserts will keep your factory rubber motor mounts from tearing under harsh drag launches and other abuse. Torn mounts will allow the entire power train to jerk and flop around. These inserts are designed to fit perfectly around the grooves of the O.E.M. black rubber mounts. They're engineered to handle additional torque and horsepower you may have added to your vehicle AND ADDITIONALLY will restore worn or torn ones.

- Controls torque, diminishes wheel hop and improves manual transmission shifting. - A must to use with modified motors and if you're heavy footed! - Protects your existing O.E.M. rubber mounts from tearing. - Even works with torn O.E.M. mounts. - Can be removed later for stock running, if so desired. - Installs in just 5 to 10 minutes on Accords and Civics! - Durable HYPER-FLEX- performance polyurethane construction"

end quote..http://www.ptuning.com/html/Item-Desc.cfm?PartNo=PT8%2D1101&MakeCode=toyota&ModelCode=matrix&ModelYear=2002%2D2003%20All%20w%2F%20Manual%20Trans%2E&ModelDesc=Matrix

If you don't mind some extra vibration at idle (goes away when you pass 900rpm), I'd highly recommend gettin the MM inserts. Shifts are so much smoother. No more wheelhop... thumbsup

it says installs in 5-10 mins...is that true? Is it something that the average dude (like me) can pull off?

What is all involved in doing this...anyone?

I have heard that the rear mounts is harder to install when compared to the front mounts. Not too sure if it can be done in 5-10 minute.

^^very true my friend..very true..the one in the rear are a pain in the butt..the guy over on n c.org said it took him atleast the whole to do both..he got the front done in like 15mins-30mins the rest of the time were spend on the rear..since it's so narrow and tight..

as far as engine stalling ever since i got the flywheel: NOPE not since..just a lot of vibration especially at 3-4k rpms..and it's loud too..

get the flywheel, it's worth it..and as far as how much it cost to have the flywheel install??? i was quoted 600 at most tranny shop i called..but finally i found this guy, work for AAMCO, and owner of the shop..charge me 300 flat, he was nice enuf to install the mm insert for free..awesome guy..i suggest you guy call AAMCO and get a quote first for the flywheel..
