Celica Forums General Discussion Engine and Performance ordered new tires BF goodrich scorcher t/a @ 59 each

I needed new tires for the celica b/c the tread is gone on my yokohama prada spec-2s( I only got about 15k miles out of them). So I went online looking for new tires on tirerack.com . It turns out they have a sale on the bf goodrich scorcher tires in size 215/40/17 for only 59 bucks a tire. I read the reviews on them and all of them were solid, except they said they were a little pricy. I just thought I'd give a heads up on a good deal for some decent tires. ^^^^ I never had them rotated, so that probably shortened their life, but I still wasn't too impressed since i've been driving on them bald for the last 2k miles. I'm also impressed with the service of tirerack.com, they already have shipped the tires, only a couple hrs after I ordered them.

hey do you ever go to streets of willow or buttonwillow raceway? cause your pretty close to the track

I've never actually checked out the track in buttonwillow. I was suposed to go to an integra meet out there last summer but my ride was stolen. The only redeeming thing about Bakersfield is that its close to everywhere. Beach and mountains are two hrs away and I have an auto cross track and drag strip within a half hr. We should definately try to geet a celica meet out there, Buttholewillow is pretty central in Cali.
