can i get any performance coil packs? because we don't have spark plug wires and i REALLY need to replace the stock ones...thanks send http links if possible.

hey ive seen some for sale called i-something i dont remember but just google it i remember seeing the coils for like 560 or something

well i need performance "things" that connect from my sparg plug to the other "thing" to be technical..i don't know to much about it. but one time i said i need spark plug wires and i got reamed out. my friend said i didn't have them because i had a newer system or something and it was just coil packs or something...so shoot me i have an ignorant friend and i believed his dumb ass

uh, your friend is right. we have coil packs.
I've seen them once on the internet but I dont think they are worth it or do anything.
why do you need to replace your stock ones?????

i need new ones because they were tested and not conducting enough electricity. my brother is a mechanic and has a tool to test that and he said that 2 were bad and the other 2 were still good.

I think that MSD makes coil packs not sure if you can use them on the celica though.

^^^^^^^ instead of having one coil for two cylinders like most DIS systems, we have an individual coil for every plug, also know as coil-over plugs. The coils just provide the electrical charge to the spark plug.

they are $560 from ignition-soultions.com they supposedly amplify the spark signal kinda of like an MSD ignition package would...but for $560, I harldy think it would be worth it

just get new ones from a toyota dealer that'd probably be the only place to get 'em since it's probably so specific to our car that they don't have performance ones out there.
(not saying we're the only car with coil over ignitions just that the wires are probably different, but don't really know what I'm talking about)(corvettes have coilover ignitions too)
