aight fellas check this out
i have this custom exhuast, its a pipe with a tip weilded onto it, its just a ordinary pipe with bends so it can fit on the celica. the pipe itselfs is pretty wide, and it wieghs like nothing,i took off the stock exhuast and started it up and it was loud as a moutherfucker, i put the custom exhuast on it and it was just as loud, meaning its like having nothing there to begin with, i drive my car daily, now would that exhuast do anything bad to harm my car or would it be ok?

No, I don't think it would harm the car, but you won't pass inspection like that, and the cops will be looking for you.

i always say this... put a control valve on it for the sound, so you can make it quieter or louder when you want with the flip of a switch

same as they said, it won't harm your car, great performance, but the cops are gonna bust you, control valve is probably your solution

HA, i have a kazuma exhaust with a control valve and the only thing the valve did was made it so it echoed a little less, still just as loud though.

sorry about that man. I do use 2 ECVs although one helped me tremendously on my custom straight exhaust with no resonator. Though I guess the Kazuma is basically unstoppable in its volume, so I won't recommend it to anyone who has the Kazuma, which really is meant for off-road use only. Did you leave your CAT or did you take that out as well with the Kazuma install?
I get my kicks on EC.

i left the cat on, and actually the valve did help, it didnt quiet it to much at all but it did make it sound a lot better.

right right my exhaust still has that roar sound...but not the attention getting raw edgy sound of a race exhaust. that's what really annoys cops.
