I wish I could be more help. I have no idea where to find them. The best advice I can give you is to contact machine shops and other speed shops in your area. They may be able to do something for you. Good luck.

ummm, i think someone is messing with you, or you are not saying it correctly, every automatic vehicle has a torque converter, what you may be talking about is one with a higher stall speed, so it allows the engine to rev higher before totally locking the transmission in, it is the same theory as a manual leaving at 5krpm and leaving at 1500 rpm. but anyways i dont think that the aftermarket has produced a high-stall converter for the celi, it is just not that in demand.

ok i was kinda vague, on the back of the engine is the flywheel, which has the gears for the starter to turn the engine over. mounted to the flywheel is the torque converter, which is then mounted to the input of the transmission. it kinda works the way a propeller on a boat would work. the torque converter is the reason autos weigh more than standard trannys, as they are filled with tranny fluid.

Just like manual transmission cars, cars with automatic transmissions need a way to let the engine turn while the wheels and gears in the transmission come to a stop. Manual transmission cars use a clutch, which completely disconnects the engine from the transmission. Automatic transmission cars use a torque converter. Well the worst part would be you can't drive your car while they have your torque converter
