i do have an intake, i have the injen shortram but i want better power and a real intake idk, injen calls it cyborg

there are basically 2 types of intakes: 1. shortram 2. cold-air an intake that takes in air from inside the engine bay is called shortram...no matter how it looks an intake that takes air from outside the engine bay is called cold-air...no matter how it looks it doesnt matterr how many bends, what the diameter is, or anything else. its all about where the air is taken from. so saying...if you could somehow make an intake that took air from the hoodscoop..it would be a cold-air. just hypothetical

no it's the same thing i'm pretty sure
they only have two intakes, a shortram and full CAI for our cars.

Really? thats funny... because my ShortRam also says cyborg and NO - I do not own a COLD AIR INTAKE... just the SHORT RAM INTAKE as pictured below (FYI: "cyborg" is just the name that is used to describe the intake systems - that is how they classify it with CARB - California Air Resources Board so if it have that "CARB" its legall right??
