TPR DOES have better gains, in both low and high end. Its the best intake out there for our Celica. Only prob is its not Cal approved.

TPR is better then the RMM and injen becsaue it has the same setup for the MAF or whatever that thingy is called, sensor as the stock airbox. Has the fins to direct air right so you dont get CELs and bogging. Also tunrs into CAI with added pipe smile But if you want looks li liek injen and rmm better. But gains go with them.

lol thats a shitty pic of the intake. Its unpolished and unpowdercoated. THAT is NOT a finished product. gains were about 2-3whp.

TPR Intake! - Injens high end with AEM's low end and NO BOGGING!
TPR EXHAUST! - Exhaust made 10.5 whp peak and 32 whp at 6300 on my car!!!

^^ definately get the heatshield..it's good for about another whp or so. (dynos usually show an increase of about 1-2 whp with the heatshield installed...but thats within the dyno's margin of error, so technically it could just be a myth..but the 1-2 whp increase is consistent. i'd buy it, personally)

i need to buy the injen heatshield for my sri.

if you want a short ram then performance gains obviously aren't too important to ya anyway. so just get the one that looks/sounds the best. Besides even if your goin for gains, that whole extra 2 HP isn't gonna make that much of a difference; just get what you want!

yeah i mainly wanted one for the looks...but...i figured since TPR makes better products performance wise than the 'others' usually i'd give it a try. RMM claims 8hp max gains over stock...so that's total bs then?

i really dont htink i get 8 hp. Maybe with liek 100 octaine or somehting smile Personally i liek the injen RMM look better then tpr though. And deff liek the rmm shield but injen is spiffy too. Go whichever you liek the best smile and cheapest wink

It prolly does give 8hp, to the crank.

2 whp isn't much of a difference than the typical 3-4 whp given by a cai--and it's more than half of a typical NAME BRAND exhaust wink

cai's do give slightly better gains than sri's..i'm not trying to argue that. my point is only to say that there is very little difference performance-wise between cai's and sri's (evertyhing else remaining the same in the car).
