you want to put the MAF housing between the lines. after the bend from the throttle but before the curve to the filter. use a coupler, like for intercooler piping, to attach the housing to the intake assembly. your definatley gonna need to trim the coupler- too much will throw of the fit of the intake in the engine bay. you just want to replace the section of the piping and still retain the overall dimesions ( length and width fromm a 2D looking down view)

yup, if the length of the housing is about say 4 inches, then cut 4 inches of piping bewtween the 2 lines (want to be the straightest part on the tube) out and replace the cut section with the MAF housing. Use couplers to hold it in place ( like the ones used on intercooler piping). you might have to trim the cupplers so it can be a perfect fit.

For Blue Bombers CAI modification, goto: http://www . new celica . org/ click on 'installs' on the top banner click on 'engine/performance' click on 'Hot Topic: INSTALL: PERFECT CAI (Hybrid Aftermarket Intake/Stock Airbox Mod)' 12th from the bottom theres no spaces for the web address. I guess you cant type in there address or name for any replys in this site. That sucks. Both sites have real good info, why do people have to hate?
