im gettin 18" rims should i get 225/35/r18 or 225/40/r18 is there a way bigger chance of wheel damage with the 35's?

I would go with 225/40 because the ride will be better than the 35s and you will have less chance of damaging ur rims.

i have 225/35/18 and I have never damaged a wheel, and I never found the ride to be any worse then stock. Also the 225/35/18 is nearly a perfect match to the stock overall diameter of the stock tires. So it won't mess up your speedometer.

^^agreed, go with 225/35 - I will probably get a set myself when it's time for new tires

go for 225/40... pot holes will eat up ur rims if you dont... ive seen it happen
